Struggling through his 3rd year at Port Moody Secondary's Environmental Science program, Owen is ecstatic to serve as ECF BC's Youth Outreach Coordinator for 2025. After being thrown into the deep end of environmental activism in the middle of his grade 9 year, Owen was quickly whisked away into a whole new world of climate advocacy and conservation planning. After a year and a half of running his own (now defunct) climate NGO and organising projects with the New York Institute of Technology, he now finds himself at ECF badgering people on the internet. On top of that, Owen's "life" is filled with photography, beginner filmmaking, and debating as well as unhealthy amounts of coffee (fair-trade of course) and dark chocolate. Owen hopes that ECF BC's youth initiatives will be a transformative, impactful, and inspiring experience for new activists and seasoned environmentalists alike.
