A Grade 12 student at HeadStart School in Islamabad, Pakistan, Rania is excited to serve as the Student Writer for ECF. Rania first developed her passion to advocate for the environment when she helped out at a fundraiser for wildfires at the age of 10. Captivated by the serenity of the natural beauty in the North of Pakistan, Rania vowed to raise awareness on the dangers of global warming, hoping to protect the alluring charm of nature all across the globe. Since then, Rania has founded initiatives for the preservation of the environment across three cities in Pakistan. Joining ECF has given her the opportunity to combine her love of writing and admiration for the environment in order to spread education and awareness to begin the dire change we need. Outside of school, Rania can be found buried deep into a book, perfecting the same 3 songs on the guitar, or blasting music at dangerous volumes in her headphones 24/7.
